Missionary Report

Dear Praying Partner,

Rainy season began already hear in Cambodia. The cockroaches are coming inside the house. Ants are enjoying their invasion and hybernation in our kitchen and rooms. Flies are quick to go inside when you open the door.  The streets were flooded even if it rains just for a short time. Sicknesses and diseases are increasing . The people in the squatters and relocation areas are suffering. Beggars, people who have sicknesses and AIDS affected people are begging, street children are half naked looking in the trash cans or trash boxes for food. These are what I have seen here in just a few days when the rainy season began.

There is a lot of work to do. There are a lot of oppurtunities that the good Lord places in our hands and sight to witness to people to share the love of Jesus Christ. This year in our church, this is our motto, "Jesus Loves Me and Them".

We want to praise God for your prayers to us and the ministry. Last week, through personal witnessing and teaching there are 11 precious souls who came to know the Lord. Please pray that the devil will not take away the seed sown in their hearts, and that they will grow spiritually.

Today in our sunday service, we rejoice in God for the 1 precious soul who accepted Jesus Christ as Savior. Please pray for the spiritual growth of Mrs. Sok Nang and that she will follow the Lord in believers' baptism.

Last week I sent you a prayer letter concerning the family who got baptized. After following the Lord in baptism. The enemy attacked them, Mrs. Sarem got sick and Mr. Sareth while driving his motorbike was struck in the left eye by a sharp object, leaving a cut on his eyeball.  Please be with us in prayer that the Lord will heal his eye and that he may be able to see soon. Right now he cannot see.  For this man, his only job is to drive or take people with his bike. In order to feed his family he needs to drive his bike but he is one week now unable to work.

Thank you very very much. May the Lord continue to bless you.

Sincerely in Christ,

Brother Edgar Asuncion and Family
