BRUCE & MARGARET MCKEE

Missionaries in Cambodia

February 20th.,2002

Dear Friends,

Praise the Lord! The picture is of the 1997 van that was given for our Orphanage last January. I give my special thanks to the Pharr and Keenom families who donated $5,500.00. Others contributed from various Churches to help us purchase this van for only $6,500.00 total. I was able to give the Orphanage the remaining amount of $1,500.00 cash to help them with so many other needs.

I am grateful to Bruce O'Neal,  "Manna Worldwide", and their supporters for their big part in providing for the Daily needs of our orphanage. Last January Bruce O'Neal brought several Pastors to Cambodia. I was happy to know of Manna Worldwide's commitment to help the Orphanage. Bruce O'Neal and I later plan starting a feeding center to other less fortunate children in the area. Brother Bruce made it clear that he will support us providing we start a Baptist Church. I will by God's Grace!

Doctor Castro has been given a contract with the Cambodian Government to oversee a 75-bed hospital. The Rawlings foundation and Operation Renewed Hope are working together to supply this newly built hospital. This Cambodian businessman who is being used to open this fantastic door of opportunity is a Baptist Brother and has also offered us 10 hectares of land. Some of this land will be used to put up a Baptist Church. Mr. Thavy wants me to use the land for "farming". I do not know anything about farming, but I am praying that I find or make a contact with someone who can help us plant peanuts. I believe we can make peanut butter and peanut candies to be sold by our Orphan Children. (Just an Idea) By the way, the man’s name is Mr. Nhem Thavy. He is a chemical engineer. He was saved in 1985 at a Baptist Church in Houston, Texas and is retired from Goodyear. He now has a 22 megawatt generating plant and sells power to Phenom Penh.

Cambodia Baptist Bible College will graduate our first batch come this July. Doctor Jack Baskin will come to preach the Graduation and see the school he helped to start in October 1999 now able to reach this milestone. We are proud and thankful for the Lord's provision and mercies.

Margaret and I have our return tickets and will say good bye to our children, family, and friends this May 6th, 2002. Soon we will unite with Team Cambodia and our Cambodian brethren.

Thank you for you faithful prayers and support as we continue serving the Lord in reaching the Lost in Cambodia.

Sincerely Yours,

Bruce McKee
