Dear praying brethren,
We trust that this finds you all overflowing with the blessings and joy of the Lord Jesus Christ whom we all serve.
The rainy season is causing the road to Anlong K'ngan to be very muddy. Travel is becoming more and more difficult. However, we praise God that the road was still passable last Sunday. There were 42 fathers who attended and 3 of them professed Christ as Savior. Please help pray for Bro. Ken Nielsen as he and our staff will be going to do the preaching and the teaching in Anlong K'ngan this Sunday.
We have just finished filling 25% of the property in Anlong K'ngan. (The project is to fill and grade land to build on). We would like to fill the whole plot of land now but we are trying to stretch our present resources in order to be able to put up a fence and build a temporary meeting place as well. The baptistry we want to build is long overdue and we would like it to be built soon so we can go ahead and baptize those who are ready to be baptized.
At GBC-Toul Tompoung, we had 13 fathers come to church last Sunday. Although Mr. San did not respond to the Gospel invitation, his son, Vanni who is a Bible college student is very happy that his father finally came to church. Vanni has been praying for the salvation of his father for a long time now. Please help pray for Mr. San's salvation.
Cambodia Baptist Bible College will be having its first graduation in less than a month. Two members of our church, Pilot and Phally are among 18 students who will be participating in the graduation exercises.
Please help pray for Daisy. She has been having rectal bleeding for almost a week now. Dr. Castro recommends surgery to fix the problem permanently. Please help pray that the treatment she is getting now will help her to be able to hold up until school is finished at the end of this month. She is not in serious pain but bleeds every time she goes to the bathroom.
We appreciate very much your prayers and support for us and the ministry here. May more of the Lord's blessings be poured out upon you all.
Yours for Cambodia,
Mike Valdez
