If there is one thing that characterizes the people of Messiah Baptist Church, it is prayer. We believe that God has commanded us to pray to Him, and that He listens to our prayers. We know from experience that he answers our prayers, for which we give Him all the praise and glory. We have many opportunities to pray together, and God meets with us, as He has promised, "wherever two or three are gathered in My name", and our church members enjoy the unity He brings to us in prayer.
