The first step in building your site is to choose a Domain Name. Make your name as short a s possible. If your company name is Acme Auto Transport, use a name like aat, or acme, or auto etc. Use only letters or numbers, no spaces, hyphens are ok. All domain names are lower case ( no capitals). If you use capitals, the browser will convert them to lower case letters.

A free domain name will be created, such as; http://acme.bigwebpages.com
You can use this domain name as long as you are a bigwebpages subscriber.

If you purchase your own domain name ( http://.www.acme.com) you can forward the name to your Bigwebpages site.
Also enter a password that you can easily remember ( numbers or letters). Passwords are case sensitive. ( Hint: Get in the habit of always using lower case letters, no capitals, and you won't have to remember if your passwords have capital letters) apple is not the same as Apple or APPLE
