When I edit my page I don't see the changes?

When I edit my page I don't see the changes?
If you are doing an edit of your page you may need to reload the page to see the changes.

The problem here is Browser related. The page is "caught in the cache".

With AOL or Internet Explorer, hold the Ctrl key down while clicking reload, this forces IE to reload the page from the server and not your cache.

With Netscape, hold the shift key down while clicking reload, this forces Netscape to reload the page from the server and not your cache.

How do I change an existing page to a new template style?
It is easy to change the layout of your page. Go to the templates page and select the new page design. Log-in to Ultra5 and select the page that you want to change. Click on the 'next' button and follow the instructions on screen. All your original data will still be there just as it appeared on the original page.

How do I put my Logo on the top of my page?
It is easy to place your logo on your pages.
1: Upload your logo Image.
2: Login to the page builder.
(If you already have the page, select the page you want to
add the logo to, then click the 'next' button.)
3: Click through the pages until you get to the main form page.
4: Enter the image name in the "Header" box on the form.
5: Preview then Save your page..

If you are using a template style that has an icon option on the top of the page you can use your own custom icon. First upload your custom icon. ( It should be no larger than 150x150 pixels.)Then when you are editing your page you can type in the image name of your icon (ie.myicon.gif) in the field called "Icon Number".

How do I edit my guestbook entries??
Copy the post number that you want to delete or edit. The post number appears after the email address when viewing your guestbook. It is a 9 or 10 digit number.
1: Login to the page builder.
2: Click on the advanced editor.
3: Select the yourname.guest file from the drop down list.
4: Find the post number for the entry you want to edit.
5. Edit the text.
6. Save your guestbook file.

How do I put a Downloadable file on my page?
Downloadable files are normally limited to .zip files and .exe files.
1. Login to the page builder.
2: Upload your file to the server, using our upload program.
3. On the Form Page, In the links section, enter your filename and description.
4: Preview, then Save the page.
When a user clicks on the link text, they will download your file.

How do I make my orderform secure?
First, Please contact the WebMaster to see if this option is available!
To make your page secure, use the web address to our secure server.
1. Login to the page builder.
2: Edit the link to your Order Page using the following:
<A HREF="https://Our_domain.com/YOUR_USER_NAME/FORMNAME.HTML">Secure Order Form</A>

So that your images will show properly on the secure form, you will need to change the image address.
1. Login to the Advanced Editor.
2. Select your form page.
3: Edit the images on your Order Page using the folling:
<A HREF="https://Our_domain.com/ultra/bkgrnd/THE_IMAGE_NAME">
If the image is in your folder, use the following:
<A HREF="https://Our_domain.com/YOUR_USER_NAME/THE_IMAGE_NAME">

When building a page, when I go back a page there is nothing there, why?
This is a browser related problem.
To get around this, when building your page if this happens to you, don't go back to correct something. Continue building your page and then after you save the page go to the page editor and edit the page. This will always work because during an edit all the colors and text are on the same page and will be there even if you go back from the preview page.

Why does some of my text not show on my page?
This is usually caused from having the same text color as the background color for the text area in question. In the case of Headers and Sub-Headers if your text is not showing on the page, log in to the page editor and change the Header or Sub-Header color to a contrasting color.

How do I link to another page on my site?
In addition to the Site Map, you may want to have a link on a page that links to another page on your site, such as Page 2, or Next Page, etc. In the area on your page where you can add links, enter the page description in the left field box, such as PAGE 2 or ORDER PAGE etc. Then in the right field box type in the file name for the page that you want to link to, such as index1.html or index2.html etc. Also,you can use the bold html tags in the description field.
