Getting Started Building Your Web Site

Logon using your username and password. Both are case sensitive. Your username is the same as your site name. (If you chose "plumber" for a site name your username is also "plumber".) Choose a template (a page layout) from the available designs that you would like to use for your page.
Select an image or images from our image library or upload your own images to use on your page. To upload your images, click on the Upload Files link after you log-in. Full instructions are available on the upload screen.
It is best to upload your images before you start building your page.
On many of the page designs or templates, there are recommended sizes for your images. Use this as a guideline for your images that you upload to your site to place on your web pages. You can experiment with the image size to achieve the look you desire for the page.
To start building a page, click on the template page that you want to use, or click on Use this Design under the template image. Login to the Web Page Wizard with your user name and password.

Getting Your Text ready for the page.

When you are getting your text for your pages ready, we suggest that you use "Word pad" or a similar word processer and format your text off line and then just copy and paste the text in the text area on the form when building your page. It is a good idea to save a copy of your text on your computer for backup.
One feature of the Web Page Wizard is that you may format your text just like you want it to appear on the page. The wizard will place the HTML tags where they need to be.
You may also use HTML tags in your text for your pages. If you use HTML tags the wizard will not do any formatting of your text.

Editing Your Pages

To edit a page you have created, simply click on the "Edit Page" link. Once you login you will see the same form you originally used to build the page. You can edit any item on the page, change colors, text, button style, or add more to the page.
To edit Your Menu page, click on the "Edit Menu" link at the top of your page, and follow the instruction on the page.
The Advanced Editor and File Management
In the advanced editor you can open your page in a "plain text editor" to change your text, add images, or make any changes that you would like. You can use HTML tags, java, in any way you like to enhance the page.
With the File Management Program, you can rename files or delete files that you no longer use.
